Hi Joe,

I received my kit the other day and it comes with 10K oil in kit. I was going to purchase alot of K Factory stuff and front diff but now going to run spool and 30K in rear to start off. Suck it and see if you know what I mean! I might change my mind down the track (about buying lots of K Factory parts)but I am not racing for Cattle stations, just for fun. Read a few posts back as good advice on track conditions and oil to use front and back diff

I wrote this in error Kit oil is 30K (part number is 10,000 - not the best of plans)

Edit - I always thought the kit had 30K oil. Page 2 of the manual where it shows what you get says 30000 with 10000 on the tube. I just checked the TM website and part number 502123 is 10K (which page 2 also says is included) so it looks like it is in fact 10K oil so my apologies to vc05htd for correcting him when it is my mistake.

Part number 502124 which is what you used to get with the G4 EVO/Mongoose is the 30K oil.

Part numbers and links below.

Do you remember about it?

Asil
Asil,

I've had the K-factory fuel tank for about a year now and have had no problems with it. No leaks from the cap, and I think is structurally stronger than the stock tank. I've had 2 stock tanks that had developed a leak after a crash.

as far as I remember, someone told to put screws instead of pins through the cap pivot point..

But can not remember the cause.. I'll search it again.

The g4 LeMans RTR comes with the old swing rack steering, lola bumper set, lola style body and .15 small block motor. If its over a $100 less it may be a good way to get started, if not I would recommend the G4s RTR since the steering upgrade is important and the sedan body & steering conversion would be close to $100.-
