When you do get one ,look after them ,they a true asset.
as for the UFO clutch ,I havent had any issues with all 3 that i have with exception of damaging the base plate for the shoe when i dropped it .Couldnt figure out why shoe wouldnt sit flush till i noticed it as the shoe fits pretty snug on the plate.
Only other hassle was the flushing on the clutch bell cooling holes that scratched the shoe, after sand papering it smooth everything is A OK.
If there is one niggle that really irratates me is the brakes.
Am making a new brake cam as the brake arm is too far forward to my liking and the brake rod ball cup is on the virge of popping off.I am making a new one that has the brake arm 90deg to the brake disc. Also I use a 6mm threaded ball as a brake piston as the std one is a tad short. My brake tolerance is less and more consistent.Just to finish the cam and brake woes are sorted.

You may know this already, but have you checked the brake cam post, the one that runs inside the bulkhead and pushes the brake piston out to the brake pads? That part is made out of aluminum and it tends to wear out fairly quickly. Once it does it fades away your brakes and the lever goes further to the front gradually.
I like your idea of making a new lever that sits at 90º from the brake pads.

GTRMX i noted that the pin hole for the brake lever is in line with the face of the cam.By making a shaft with the hole off setbt 45deg would make this much better also the brake buttom that pushes on the pads can be 1/2mm thicker.
My setup is feelling much better just to test it on the track ,maybe Sunday.

ITS ALIVE!!!
Well after spending about 3 months in my room being built, then waiting for a nice wamr day, the g4s came to life today.
its packing a JLR "Red-Dot" engine with skyline pipe and that thing sounds MEAN, i ran one tank through it and temps maxed out at 193F, I love the sound of the engine idling sounds like a 4-stroke.
I still havent been able to see how much better the G4S handles over the Mongoose but I will soon enough!

I still have my V One RR Evo and FW 05R in shed to practice, so even if I buy G4S it might sit in shed looking pretty till next year.......

Round heats are up onthe Vegas site.
any one on that list besides Paul Coleman, Sam Felish , Darren Dill, that drive a G4S ?
i think its been confirmed that these are results from first round of heats.
Congrats to Sam and Darren to trun 1st in their respected heats, and Darren 2nd in his heat in 1/8th . Paul Coleman is in hot territory in his heats, hope he can push the car towards the pointy end
