There has been interference with those who have place the receiver low (on the removable section), but those who have done it my way appear ok.
I have glued the L shaped section to the carbon radio tray, then fixed the RX upside down to that L pate with double sided tape.
It seems to be away just a little from chassis heat and fuel spillage this way.

Just got a Pro module for my EXZES after waiting a month local distributor to get them.

I need to get a transciever for my G4s but current reciever is fitted into 2 balloons and then mounted in its location.I also drilled the radio tray earial hole a bit bigger for a piece of aerial tube to fit and super glued it in place.
Havent had any issues with it.

2 ballons to cover the Rx
3mm cut the top part of radio basket so the basket seat level to chassis
rubber gasket ( pull from mugen ) to reduce vibration.
Drill larger hole for antenna passing ( carbon fibre and antenna mounting )
Heat shrink tube for covering the antenna wire at the hole section.

The spectrum receivers before the 'pro' series are easily affected by fuel and also the glue in double sided tape. You can tell if it's affected by looking at the casing and seeing fine cracks or the casing becomes soft. This will immediately cause radio problems for the spectrum.
Wrap your receiver tight in a baloon before fixing it to the cage with tape.
The pro series receivers (with the clear smokey plastic) are fuel proof.
I don't attach my receiver to the bottom of the cage, I attach it to the upright protective plate instead. Then the cage is acting as a protective barrier and not as the part holding the receiver that gets hit by kerbs and bumps.

btw what kind of ballons? just normal ballons?
#1927
Normal party balloons ,I use the smaller ones that I stretch over reciever. The larger ones work but can be a bit of a pain to secure.
Put wires through neck of balloon and on the location of the aerial wire make a pin hole and stretch it to put the aerial wire through.
Secure to top part of reciever bracket.

Dennis,
The 2006 European 1/10 champ car has a CF front crossbar instead of the plastic one that comes with the kit. It doesn't extend and doesn't screw to the radio plate. My question: Does this give the chassis more flexibility and does this make the chassis susceptible to getting bent during a crash?
Also check out the rear stabilizer. Are these aftermarket parts or custom made?

That is the Kfactory front cf brace. If looking to get that piece spend your money wisely and get the new speedshot front assembly instead.

what should i do with the side belt?
top touching the upperdeck and bottom belt sitting on the chassis
top touching the upperdeck and bottom belt sitting on the chassis

where the belt is touching either sandpaper or use a flat file to shape or round the edge of upper plate and chassis. Not much else you can do but to remove the sharp edges that could damage belt.

i find the distance to engine is so close, the ballon not gonna melted right?
btw did u put the receiver cover towards the fuel tank or engine?

wat i did is wrap up the entire rx with ballon, then i cut a tiny hole at where those wires to be connected, then i plug in those wires, and then i wrap up the entire ballon with wire tape and dump back to the L-plate and its done. quite simply job though. so fuel shdn't be that easy to get inside the rx.
