Anyone have a diff side bearing out? If you do could you measure it with a set of calipers and post the size. Never mind, got it off Team Magic website.
Might be old news to some but check out http://www.avidrc.com/ for R/C bearings. $1.00 per bearing!!
12x18x4mm diff side bearings 4 required
6x12x4mm outer hub, 2 speed shaft and middle shaft 8 required
10x15x4mm inner hub bearings 4 required
5x10mm flanged side belt tensioner 2 required
5x10x4mm centex clutch bell 2 required

Dennis and Team - Thanks for the support!! The G4S managed to hold off all those Mugen's, VONE RR, and Serpents this past weekend during the first day of qualifing of the Region 2 race located at 301Raceway. The car was simply dialed and maintained great corner speed and I didn't have to worry about traction rolling. However on day 2 my good friend Vincent Jackson put in a very clean and fast run to bump me into 2nd. During the main I got a great start and then ran into motor problems and had to pull the car. All in all it was a great showing of the cars potential and many positive comments on it's performance.

Jorge and Bobby also ran the G4S this past weekend. It was great meeting you both and you guys did great!!

TIP for this past weekend:
The small stubs on the rear body mount do break off. I drilled mine out and put in a set screw to help hold them into position.

Thanks again for all the support!!

Mark

I am experiencing a problem with my front sway bar where if I push down on either rear corner the opposite front wheel will lift off the ground long before it reaches the droop setting. If I push in the middle of the rear or remove the front bars both front wheels stay down and the front will lift to its droop setting.

My droop settings are 3R and 0F with a ride height of 5.5R & 5F. Tires are 62mm rear & 60mm front.

I dunno if the shock ends are in yet but they do have crash kits and you are better off getting the kit with arms, bulkheads, & shock parts for under $50 than a part here & there at $6-8 each.

Well another race day...

...another rain day.

We're setting a record for the worst outdoor racing season ever in this area. So I haven't been able to take my G4s back out since I found a great set up for it.

Hopefully I'll be able to race it again soon...with no rain.

Anyone here play with the option K-Factory gears and pulley? m thinking of upgrading my stock plastic belt pulley to K-Factory hard coated ones, but m not sure which no. of teeth to get. so if anyone here already have upgraded their full sets of gears or pulley, mind letting me know pls? for example, the side pulley, 18T or 20T is good. so wat i m looking after for is the complete set that makes the car run fast, coz i heard that there is a way to calculate it, but i have no idea. thanks.

Winner of DTM Cup in Indonesia

2005 - Daniz24 (G4 Evo)
2006 - Teddy Syach (G4S)

After finish line, we found out that the there's a leak from the pipe (1 of the small manifold spring is lost or broken) that's why after 2nd refuel the car suddenly lost its power for about 10% and sounds like its overheating

Default Brian Berry's Set-up

uniquexme, try Brian Berry's set-up off the Team Magic web page.
Brian is a sponcored Team Magic driver.
as it changes rear roll center and works great check it out use 19 thooth brake pully and 20 tooth 2 speed shaft pully with larger rear tires I think it is 4mm difference.
A big plus is your not gringing down so much new foam.
Check it out it maybe what you are looking for.

Regards Mac
