Hey guys. Anyone have a link on instructions to put together the front geardif?
I just got mine in the mail and it came with no instructions. I put it together I believe corectly and it works without dif oil. This is the procedure that I used to assemble it.
From what I inspected the spacers get pushed into the casing, the outdrives go into the washers than through the case. The 4 pins go into the case. Two diagonal spider gears go in on the four pins and then two in the other direction to give you the correct rotation. Than I believe the small pin goes inbetween the two outdrives to keep them aligned and the two pieces of the casing are screwed together with the two screws. I can only imagine that the remaining two washers are used on the outside of the dif between the outdrive shafts and the pro outdrives that are attached with the setscrew on the flat spot on the outdrive. So that's how I assembled it and it works smoothly...I just have to add oil, what wt do you suggest for the 705? Thanx

I used 50 thousand weight on my Impulse however, you can go higher to get a solid axel feel if you want. It all depends on the track layout and surface.

Hey all, I'm thinking of getting an Impulse and I'd just like to know if it can accept 30mm wide tyres at the rear.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I think mike got the grid wrong for the nats on his report on my tsn
"The A Final drivers will be Joe Dumas, Josh Cyrul, Chris Tossolini, Ralph Burch Jr., Mark Pavidas, Ron Rossetti, Darin Ishatani and Atsushi Hara. The first and second place finishers from the B Final will bump up tp the A Final."

initiald...
hope u can help me on my 705 problem
rear shocks
the shocks collasp w/o any/much rebound b4 the race. i need to top up the shock oil and reshape the baldders in order for it to work again but after 1 heat it collasp again. the setting is set to softest. the clicks r not noticable. wat could be wrong or any parts i need to replace..the shocks r mounted on bearing block
clutch engagement
i find there's no punch on the 705. my clutch setting is set to std as recommend by manual. 9.2mm. i read somewhere some r using 8+-mm. would tat engage the clutch faster ? i'm using 15/50 for 1st gear. would changing the pulleys 17/22/47 help since not many track as big as s2
chassis
my chassis seems bend again. difficult to get it perfect. now thinking of using TC body n hopefully the rubber bumper would protect it from further damage. do u think it'll help or should i juz stick to lola. btw lola i need to change the roll bar similiar 2 urs.
rx box
i understand some ppl use the team magic rx box similiar to trinity for the 705. i brought one and seems a lot of mods required to fit it in. any idea how ppl mount it ?

Can any of you guys convince me that a 705 is better than an MTX-3? I'm going to either purchase an R40, MTX-3, or 05. I will be doing extremely competitive racing(ie: Regionals, Nationals, etc.) I want the best RACE car available. Oh, and does anyone know where to get the novamega 2105 MCP engine and 2171 TP06 exhaust pipe?

Fastharry is right about new cars on the market but most of the manufactures were represented in the A-main nationals. However, only one can be on top one at a time!!!
As for the new MCP pistion...............the factory drivers always get the newest and coolest stuff first!!
