I had trouble putting on the servo saver insert too. It needs a little force to place it on. It like the rest of the car.....everthing fits like a tight glove!
Unlike the Mugen MTX3 rear suspension!

Nice Mind sharing your setup? Would be interested to know some alternatives...

Punihser is right Just get spurs and pinions. The car runs out of the box race ready. Everything that you need to stiffen the chassis is already provided in the form of carbon graphite side stiffeners. The Centax II and the lightened 2 speed gearbox is state of the art. It gives consistant shifting all the time.

Like Punisher mentioned, if you are running on a smaller track, you may want to gear down the 705 with smaller pinions. To further gear it down, you can optionally get the internal pulleys to make the internal drive ratio bigger. The 22T brake pulley (to replace 23T brake pulley), 17T rear side pulley (to replace 18T rear side pulley) and 47T rear diff pulley (to replace 46T rear diff pulley) are the pulleys to get to achieve better acceleration on a smaller track. I would think that would be the best upgrade

Second comes the FC Steering Blocks

It depends on the length of the track you run on... For spurs and pinions, you have the following options that you can run on your 705;

1st gear spur
50T (902450)
49T (902449)
48T (902448)
47T (902447)

2nd gear spur
46T (902446)
45T (902445)
44T (902444)

1st gear pinion
15T (909575 steel, 909555 aluminum)
16T (909576 steel, 909556 aluminum)
17T (909577 steel, 909557 aluminum)

2nd gear pinion
18T (909578 steel, 909558 aluminum)
19T (909579 steel, 909559 aluminum)
20T (909580 steel, 909560 aluminum)

Unlike other cars, you need not necessarily stick to a particular gear tooth jump for the Centax pinions and spurs. For example, you can use 50T/44T spurs (6 tooth jump) with 16T/18T pinions (2 tooth jump), so long as you tune your engine and 2nd speed gear engagement to suite.

To get a lower set of gearing for even smaller tracks, you can use the optional 22T brake pulley (909242), 17T rear side pulley (801252) and the 47T rear diff pulley (808376).

Carbon fibre chassis? I don't think there's one. GPM once made for the Serpent Impulse Streetspec / Impulse PRO but even though a carbon graphite material will provide for a rigid stiff chassis, the material is not a good heat conductor. Hence bad for engine.

That is an Impulse Pro (hop-up). Not a 705. How much did you pay for it?
