Damn thats ugly

I wish I had of held off on the Spektrum though, it has some awsome features. Does anyone know if spektrum receivers are compatable?

Yeah from what nomadios website says. A lot of people call this a funky / ugly looking radio , but it makes sense it should feel better.

I would guess they are not compatible. I also own the spektrum and will probably stick with that for now , but wanted to see what people thought of this one and seeing if its worth it?

Lets be glad that there is more than one choice, i.e. futaba, airtronics, jr, hitec etc. and now Spektrum and Nomadio...

So saying they missed the boat..... What kind of statement is that?

I actually think that they are the boat and spektrum missed the boat by only offering a one-way radio system that is spending all of its time decoding from analog to digital while the Nomadio Sensor is a true digital system with two way communications!

And for the price they are cheaper! Take for example a 3PK transmitter ($320 tower) and then add the spektrum module for $160 and then the telemetry kit for $140 all for the grand total of $620! I just bought a Nomadio from Hobby Warehouse in MPLS for $439 for a savings of $180! Oh and not too mention where are you going to mount the extra telemetry transmitter? No sure about the Spektrum but Nomadio is made in the USA! I was surprised too...

And I have yet to hear if they have fixed their problems with running indoors on carpet! (spektrum that is)....

I was in town and bought it. Not sure of there web site though I think they do have one. Check out this link and then do some searching it has there address and phone number ask for Dan in the Car department (tell him Bill Neuhauser sent you).

Not sure if they have any one hand I bought the last one they had last Wed, but I thought I heard him say they are ordering more. If your quick and get a V1 receiver they(Nomadio) will send you the new v2 receiver when they have them meaning you get two for the price of one! The V1's tach doesn't work...

I have the spektrum amd I love it, but I guess very soon every major radio manufacturer will have an integrated system and then they'll become cheaper.

Don't expect KoPropo, Futaba, Sanwa or Hitec to leave the market to someone else...

i have an eagle tree systems set up that is a two way telemetry system. it reads stuff like engine temp and so on. it cost $350. i bought it and never used it one time as i kindof got out of r/c. it is brand new in the box will sell for $200, my email is [email protected]

i emailed them about 6 months ago, the were taking pre-orders. i lived in australia and wanted to pre-order, but they said no to me coz i dont live in usa. anyway me and my other mates bought spektrum with our helios and m8's and none of us will change our spektrums for anything!

I have been using one of these for about 6 months now ( I was on the pre order list). I have not had one hitch or glitch with it since I bought and it easily the most comfortable and lightest radio I have ever had. I have the telemetry reporting engine temp and RX bat volts to the TX. I almost do not need a pit man to do practice runs now. One of the big advantages of the Sensor is it's extremely long Transmitter battery life. The standard 4 cell 800 mah NiMi pack will easily do two weekends of racing and my spare 1200 mah pack will do better still. Nomadio also coats the insides of the TX and Rx will a tan colored coating to reduce RFI interference.......something i have never seen on any of my previous radios. Spektrum components are not compatible with the Sensor because Nomadio use a proprietary error check that works only with their systems.

It might be the shiz......but I held one in my hands at RCX....and it feels like a cheap toy and it's just about the ugliest radio made!!
