Mugen MRX6

No the bumper does not hold the body up, but if its warped change it, if its rubbing it will cause the car to push.. Important is how far off the bumper you are mounting the body? If its too far forward no matter what you do the downforce will cause it to hit. Another thing I do is I leave a hole open in between the bottom pin and the top pin so its not pressing it down to tight. also check a lot of times the body is hitting on the sides in the front between the corner of the front to the wheel well..
I will pay close attention to how far I mount the body from the bumper, must have mounted way to forward.

Yes, you do need to fill it up, w/o a washer the body will for sure sit too low.I did cut out a piece of rubber from an old rear tire to make the spacer.

My spacer comes until the 1st hole

Could you advise whether the MRX5 and MRX6 used the same pulley gears? I have looked at the diagrams for both and they do look similar but noticed they both had different part numbers by Mugen.

The 20T brake pulley is different but on the MRX6 the MRX5 pulley can be used if you use the MRX5 lockup ring
And the 48T rear pulley is different but if you make the slot for the 3mm pin on the MRX5 pulley a little bit deeper it will fit the MRX6
The rest will fit

hey jed thanks for the pics, hey if your using a pressure tank u dont need long hoses u should mount the pressure chamber where the hole is for it,.,. jmo

He is just cheating on his fuel capacity......
#881
Have not tested if it gives you a few more seconds per tank but it does make your setting a bit leaner than if you had a hose connected directly from tank to engine. Did about three tank test and I noticed that difference. Am assuming because of the system the pressure is slightly less hence less fuel flows to the engine making it leaner?

Hey guys, I have MRX6R new in the box with new parts to sell if anybody's interested. PM me.
#884
Hey, what are your thoughts on the 6R clutch compared to the 6??
#885
I think in use no much difference. The 6R with more bearings in the clutch bell will have less play butI doubt if it is noticable
