when did RC cars become nasa rocket engines? come on guys, you're playing with toy cars. $250 for a flat board you can buy at home depot for $10? i guess the saying a fool and his money describes a lot of folks.

I think your being pretty judgmental and frankly—ignorant to post such a comment. At the end of the day, we're all given a finite amount of time on this earth and should spend that time doing what makes us happy. For a guy to spend $250.00 on a board is his business. That $250.00 may serve you better in some other application which would make you happy, but thats your business.

Personally, I wouldn't spend that much on a board—hell, I wouldn't spend any $$$ on a board, I would add that $250.00 to $400.00 and buy one of those nasa rocket engines you eluded to; but thats my business. At the same time would never judge another man for choosing to spend "HIS OWN" money the way he chooses.

-Sometimes, if you don't have anything positive to say, its intelligent not to say anything at all, otherwise you sound like the fool.

I think some people need a reality slap lol. When I said nasa rocket I mean everything has to be exact or it can explode. These are toy cars. TOY cars. You're not going to lose a race if something isn't perfect measured to a tolerance of .0005
Buying a 200+ board because it's light and flat is STUPID

While we are slapping people who buy $250 setup boards we should give ourselves a good slap too. There are people who wont eat tonight but i spent more on nitro for my toy car today then it would cost to feed them, that doesnt make sense either. Spend your money how you please and live with your concious. I cant rationaly justify $1 spent on rc, $250 is just as much a problem..,,.. Flame on!!!!

Try doing better in life, spending $250 on your hobby becomes less of a deal....

More than anything else, I take vehement exception to the TOY car reference. Dont know what everybody else is racing, but the stuff I run is anything but toy.

Ofcourse our cars are much more than toys but buying overpriced tools which do have much cheaper alternitives is far from common sense....

If I have the choice of buying a new engine or this setup board then my choice would be the engine because I can race w/o a setup board but I can't w/o an engine.

I have people come and go because this hobby/sport was to expensive, you can only survive with common sense by only spending money on the stuf you do need.

250.00 for a setup board is WAY over the top.....buy
a sheet of HDPE or acrylic or whatever and
put the money to a new engine.. No wonder we can't
keep on road guys showing up... Just as ridiculous as
Hudy "cleaning brush"... Errr.. Paint brush..

Guys, how my spending is my business, right?
Need no permission. Common sense or not, it's personal.

Slap? Go away. You have your choice of buying, whether you want to further afford it or not. Mind your own business and words.
If you can afford and want to buy it, buy it. Vice versa.

This is a topic about setup board.

TS did ask what we think about it, talking about the high price looks ontopic to me.
