Default Carbon Fibre Setup Board

Has anyone got a Arrowmax Carbon setup board? What do you think about it?

I have a friend that has the arrowmax board, sick board if you want to spend that much for a setup board. He's meticulous with all of his gear so its still in perfect shape too.

I personally use the graphite 3racing board, it's good for sedans and lightweight.

You can buy a floor tile that's wide enough and cheap then put the exceed sticker or which ever brand you like.that's what I did,I got a glass sheet from an old table. The wooden boards are good enough but still its wood,if it gets wet it might warp depending on the quality of the finishing

But glass boards are also very heavy and not good travelling and so I prefer my Hudy wood board which I have had for around 10 years. It hasn't warped or twisted in all those years of abuse plus it travels very well and is light enough when flying etc. To me the carbon boards look nice but I can't see the advantage over the plain old hudy wood board...

I have had the Xceed in my hands and I must say it is very light but too expensive for me.
If it all about the weight then seach for a piece of honeycomb aluminium.
http://beecore.en.made-in-china.com/...omb-Plate.html
It isd light, strong and much cheaper to get.

I want to give it a try to make my 1/18 setup board in a larger version:

my friend had his carbon setup board stolen when he raced in TITC, i guess because it is expensive.
mine was bought from US, a guy who did honeycomb with carbon sheet job, it costed me $250, same size as hudy's.

I went with a 4mm, full carbon plate.
It's as flat as a sheet of glass, not influenced by temperature and still pretty light.

Find an dead 16:9 LCD monitor, look for graphics grade and in there is a 4-8mm clear acrylic inside, dead flat too.

Thankyou everyone for replying, I am after a lightweight board because the hudy one is quite heavy to travel with. Where can I get the Xceed one from?

Xceed is a brand related to Serpent so there is a high chance that a shop selling Serpent does sell Xceed as well.

June 27, there's in indoor off-road event I want to shoot, it's going to be an awesome event with some really good drivers, so it makes better vision.

Back on topic, to the original post, the reason there's no definitive answer is that most of us spent that part of our budget elsewhere. In truth, it's a valuable item and if it's really well made, then do it.

A 4mm acrylic sheet is as thin as you can for that medium, then it's CF or the honeycomb. Tempered/Laminated glass works too.
