I watched a very good driver that normally runs a 950R ALMOST put the 960 into the A-Main at the ROAR Region 12 Regionals today.

He drove the 960 to a two lap lead, and the car was as smooth and fast as anything I saw all weekend, until a rear bearing failure took him out of the lead of the B-Main in the last 4 mins.

I talked with him after the race and his comment was, "A very easy car to drive fast".

I've seen this kid drive for years now and that was such a good run that I went up to him after the race and asked "was that your 950R?" He told me it was a 960 that he was allowed to use for the regionals.

And I do mean smooth and fast.

No magazine reviews that i know of. You could look at the Serpent website http://www.mytsn.com/products/desc.asp?prid=4090 it has a ton of innovative features, the shocks come pre-assembled, 2 different throttle servo mounting options, new brake design... btw you need to talk to my girlfriend that would be a terrific gift.

And this is exactly how people look at it...
there is nothing wrong with the 960, the Mega engines are just not fast enough......

hey, i am happy you finally agree the Mega ZX21 is junk. You know Michael's mega is many time better than mine out of the box. Mine is just right out of the box and it is less competitive which I observed.

Ya, I agree that Mega Picco have lack of power. ZX15 can't move a 835 with new tyres on.
