I too want to see the pictures too, however, most of the ppl sold their 950R for the 960, or ppl just don't want others to know this option for whatever reason.....
This SUS1000 is kinda odd....ppl does know about it, but most ppl doesn't, cause this is not under Serpent typical parts # format (Serp 90XXXX)....Serpent website does not even list that, if you want it, you have to call Serpent-USA (yes, for once, USA does have something that others don't) and order it.........you cannot find that parts # or info on www.mytsn.com.......why? Don't know...

Anyhow, from several Serpent team driver that I have asked, the kit comes with modified rear bulkheads (right and left hand), an aluminum support for the front pivot mounting area, and a new aluminum backplate. The aluminum parts are balck annodized and have plugs that are interchangable for the roll center you want. The kit also includes 2 sets of 4 plugs allowing you to change the rear roll center either 1mm or 2mm higher than stock position. It also will allow you to run the stock setting if you wish.

So the roll center adjustment is applied onto the lower rear arms, along with the standard upper rear arms roll center adjustment, the 950R will have the full rear roll center adjustment like the 960R....they all said that it is a MUST HAVE for the 950R.

The kit is $99 USD....you can call Serpent-USA and have them to ship to your door....call and ask them and see they will ship internatinoal.

Thumbs up

The Serpent 960 will make its USA debut at the Great Lakes Challenge in Toledo Aug 4-6. I have my car together and what a nice piece. The car went together very well and they did one heck of a job designing this car. It looks like everyone that had issues with the 950R (which weren't that many really), they fixed it and went beyond on this 960! Nice job Michael Salven and the Serpent team for a well built car.

hello rctech folks. i couldn't find a 950 thread so i'll post in this section. i have a 950 team edition that i picked up 1.5 years ago. i've finally installed the motor and electronics in it. anyways, i was thinking about installing the pushrod front end and the lay down throttle servo kit. in your opinion, are these $$$ upgrades worth it? is there a markable difference. i really liked the pushrod on my veteq. just wondering if it's worth it for the 950.

thanks for your help.

chris

btw the track i run at is very flat, high traction, and very warm to hot summer temps
