back in the old days, you can use it along with the ruler to adjust toe-in/toe-out on cars.

when you all are measuring droop in the rear of the car, do you go off where the front pivot ball is or the back one? What do most people run it at?

Toster,
Most measure off the rear pivot ball. As far as how many mm of droop to run start with stock set-up 5-6 mm and tune from there.

ok lang. i don't like the way they glued ghandini tires. they are sometimes inconsistent and peel off on parts of the rim. so you end up with a chunked tire. maybe they use less glue or inexpensive glue to save production cost

i personally like monotuning tires. no glue problems and strong rims.

Default mtx set up

i have just got a set up station for my mtx 3.

can anyone give me a setup for a tight technical infield , the track does have one straight but i loose all my time because i cant take any speed into the corner.

running the stock pulleys and one way
dark blue springs all around
2.5 rear sway bar
front bar parallel to ground
stock shock oils and diff oil

also the track is a parking lot track with not the best in traction,
i usually get a push in the turns that make me slow way down to make the turn, but until now i have been playing my settings by eye.

Genltleman81,
First your car should handle alot better once set-up properly on your new set-up station. Without knowing track conditions and layout I can make afew suggestions.

- more front toe-out(turn in harder&more agressively)
- thicker rear diff silicone(drive harder into first portion of turn)
- add front camber(alittle goes a long way)
- lower front ride height in relation to rear

The list can go on and on but this is a good starting point.
Remember your always going to have to slow a bit in the turns, so dont try to overdrive the car. Also what shore tires are you running?

i usually run a 35 or 37 shore, because the track is not that great and is very slick this time of year. out of the setup sheets available on mugens sites which would be the best starting point?
