You just have too much tracktion in the rear (cause of the tracktion roll), I would also try a stiffer set of srpings to reduce the roll. I hope this helps

I am using the stock setup from the manual. When I raced last month I did not have the problem. What I did change however was the tires. Last month I used the tires that came with the Mugen kit (BTW, what brand tires and shore come with the kit?). This month I used 37 shore front and 40 rear Take Off's. My ride height, camber and toe I kept the same from last race. But from what you all have said it could be the track as well. I know they were laying down the orange soda pretty tick that day. And the turn that i had the problem is pretty tight. Next month I am going to true my tires as someone told me that it would give me better steering.

thanx for all the suggestions. they are very helpful.

Does that foam bumper tend to get caught up in the wheels without the lola bumper supporting it?

Are any mods needed to the car to run lola bodies?

also, does the lower bumper plate "lola bumper" fit under the new touring bodies?

Profoxcg 05-19-2004 08:07 AM

If you are getting a Mugen read back through the pages and you will find your answers about the 16/19 conversion and more.

Only thing needed is to remove the foam bumper.

Thats a weird marketing strategy. Maybe trying to lighten his tool box?

Profoxcg, 19/16 pulley conversion involves you replacing the stock 24T front side pulley to 19T and the 19T rear side pulley to 16T. You need to use a shorter belt. 363 mm (121 teeth).

With this pulley conversion, you overdrive the front of the car. But in order to get the same front and rear tire rollout, you need to use about 4 mm smaller tire diameter in the front than the rear. Advantages of doing this is the front end sits lower (lower roll center), front and rear tires wear about close to the same rate and allows you to run large rear tire to achieve certain tire rollout (= top speed) while still able to use small front tires.
