traction in the rear will not cause traction roll..
tranction in the front does.

traction in the rear causes understeer.

um... true, I may be mistake about that, what ur saying does make sense in regards to the push.

so, do you agree with my solution?

in regards to taking away traction.. yes.

taking the traction away would help rid the traction roll. but from what he was saying, he was only rolling on one particular turn. so it may be a track problem. there my be too much sauce in that particular section. also, he said he only does it when he turns right.. so the car should be tweaked also.

but yes, i agree with you.

sorry dont agree as too much front traction would then cause over steer

I actually think is it too much tracktion overall (front & rear)

actually the outside tires are being overloaded and roll to the point where the car just tips over. (this is my understanding)

when slowing down or breaking for the turn or even just letting go of the gas for the turn, the weight of the car transfers to the front... when you have to much traction in the front, the first effect is oversteer. then the next problem is traction roll.

traction roll is not caused by too much traction in the rear. too much traction in the rear causes push or it makes the car feel sluggish. yes, it will be hooked up, but it will not turn the fastest lap. now too much sliding is not good also... anything too much is not good.

Eddiethefish and McKrooz... Your last posts are killing me.... I was that guy's pit man during the race... Yes, his fuel tubing was a mile long... As for his top secret motor... ... lol.. As far as the current posts on traction roll or if the track conditions are good or bad... Yes, it could be the track or our tire choice... Sometimes running to hard a tire up front can cause our cars to handle completely different... Also a track can change from being hookup with one setup in the morning to being completely sloppy in the afternoon or evening... Always chasing the track is a no win situation... If your car was hookup in the morning let say... And in the afternoon or evening your car handling is sloppy.... But you didn't change a thing on your car... The track changed... Try different tires, adjust your sway bars and if that doesn't work... It's just not your time to drive... You'll never win chasing the track... Dust, dirt, no VHT, track temps all come into play as far as how your car will handle... I know we all know this... It's just sometimes we over look the biggest thing... The track...

what about the laydown servo conversion, does that put the servo in a bad place, it seems to stick out in the "t-bone zone".

anyone using it see a difference?

i am not using it but it seems like it's not good after all. but this is just a personal opinion though.

the servo sticks out longer and the receiver is exposed. i don't think that's a good idea. also, the servo is still up against the top plate. if it was all the way down to the chassis, it's should be better, but it's not.

the car is pretty good stock form. i wouldn't change anything but the 16/19 conversion belt. the conversion makes it better. i am not saying this because i carry them. but even top drivers use the 16/19 conversion. i raced over in vegas a month ago for the speedline race and i talked to two top mugen drivers and they use them.

so as far as the laydown goes.. i don't know. i wouldn't use it though because even with the laydown the CG is still the same in my opinion.. probably very very minimal change.. unless you are surikarn or swauger, you won't notice a difference.
