The track is in Kennesaw (suburb of Atlanta) and it belongs to Fernando Gordinho, Tamiya Team Driver.

That "rubber thing" is called grommet. Had to look it up in my r/c Vocabulary and dictionary.

I didn't use any of them on my servos, for I want my servos to be rigid and steady. This may risk that chance of getting servo failure sooner, but it's well worth it for me.

I do use the grommets on the steering but not on the throttle.
I let the zip tie just a little loose from fully secured to create the 'grommet effect' which permits the servo to breath some air.
Afterall, even zip ties would become a little loose itself after some times through the on-board vibration..

Next time, refer like those guy that likes to eat roasted snakes with their MTX3 and bought a LD3 lately....

Yep, talking with some guys interested on it.... if all is ok probably will be a pair or 3 cans (50US$ on shipping is a scorching price.... Damn Fedex ) tell you anything during this week.
