Well, I figured what the heck, I'm not gonna be in Japan often, just take'em. Besides, I envy you that you can easily have access to parts and hopups. People here in the States are not that fortunate.

Manticore,

I need your expertise. Can you help me rate the Five Stars Shock Spring against the Mugen's?

Thank you,

Sorry, I didn't bring my digi cam, but here's the info you maybe need it to figure out:

For the Rear Spring:

RED: Diam. 1.6X6.5*26.5
BLUE: Diam 1.7X6.5*26.5
GREEN: Diam 1.8X6.5*26.5

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I figure that the larger the diameter of the spring, the harder it is. Please confirm.

Do they have the credit card surcharge at Harmony? All the Japanese R/C Shops I went to in Tokyo DO charge me 5% of credit card surcharge, in addition to the 5% VAT.

Cash is surely the best, just like the old saying... :p

Any good ideas on preventing the belts from stripping in a sandy track? or at least make it last a main?

Too bad a lot of Japanese haven't been fond of the PayPal convenience. And, PayPal do charge hefty fees when dealing internationally, i.e. currency exchange fee on top of the PayPal International Fee, etc.

Well the next time I'm in Japan, the end of July, I'll make sure I bring tons of cash. It does make things a lot easier. :D

Vinyard 05-29-2003 11:04 AM

I suppose yes that's an idea.

but wun it be a tad troublesome?? especially the exchange rate
being slight different if you are changing it in your home town and japan? and u are carrying a wad of dough there.. hehe..

Does Harmony ship to the US?

If so, do they have a website /online shop?

I've heard a lot about them but never saw a link.

Thx
