Yes. Also please note that I said I use a Hudy tire box which is a rather common thing for 1/8th racers to have not that I actualy carry around 100 pairs of new tires. It's the perfect way to organize your used tires.

Where do you get the tire boxes, I've looked before and haven't been able to locate one on-line? Also what kind of marker/pencil do you use that will stay on the tires?

hi all, just got myself a new mtx-3 , i will be running at a rather large track ( Revelation ,CA ) i would like to hear some gearing options that are commonly used by racers . thanks again,
and also, is there any cheaper alternatives for the pinion tool ? i feel the mugen unit a little steep ..thanks

It comes from Serpent/Hudy. Try contacting Serpent USA or some one like Ashford Hobbies. Also just use a white paint pen that you can buy at an art store or office depot.

Much probably will be happy with the 17/21 with 47/43 or 42 on 63mm diameter wheels. If second proves a little short, try with the 42T spur.

Get the pinion key, your other alternative is to have several clutch bells with 16/21, another with 17/20 and 17/21, quite expensive rather the tool.

have you seen these?

Hi there! I run at Cryatal Park and Revelation myself, rev is a mid size track, depends on what kind of engine you are running to choose pinion and spur!

I am running and modified RB X12T 5 port and S5, on the RB I have to run lower gearing and on the S5 I could run taller gearing.

The pinion tool from mugen is the best and it is a must have item in your tool box! honestly I would sacrifice all those fancy tools for this one! for real!

Remembering me as a customer and offering cheap replacement, that's certainly never happened to me before.

Thanks man, that's how you make loyal customers.

Let me know when you have it available and how much and I'll paypal you.
