Ok guys this came from Smeltz himself
Sirio 3 port is ok but modified is not. One thing I have come to find on the Sirio is that the bushing on the conrod that connects to the crank pin is badly manufactuered. Brand new out of the box it has considerable play, not all but most and until sirio fixes this problem I will not modify them. On one of my test motors it shattered and damaged the motor. It is not so bad for stock but after modifications that conrod wont handle the 40,000 plus rpms for any period of time. --- SMELTZ
the earlier batch of sirio engines have such problem.

I checked my sirio which has gone thru 1/2 gallon of fuel the conrod still stand right.

Uhm... probably is making some diet waiting for the weekend. Snake meat is fine, but too much can start to turn boring.

Regarding the engine.... who cares?

Antoniop: You know that the next month I'll await some e-mail or similar saying that come to ARCA (who cares if we 100 or 101... the more will be, the better). On August will go to Vila Real.

BTW: How about this avatar? A friend sent me but.... what do you think about it? Should I have the guts (or b....) to

Hi all,

Yesterday i was experimenting with cutting my tires with camber. 1 deg front and 1.5 deg rear gave a tremendous grip, but the extra grip of course increased the tire wear. My 42 sh Speedminds would never last a 45 minute final
Any one else with any experience with this ??

I cut all my tyres with a litle of camber applied to them (about 1.5º). But aren't ready for race, they need some laps to get properly seated to the camber adjustment that use on the car. Much probably they need about 3 or 4 laps for being completely seated.

Running a 45minute final is a quite demanding moment for the car and their setup. For those long mains I cut the rear tyres 1mm larger than the fronts (at starting isn't too much quick, but about 8 or 10 minutes they start being 1:1 and about minute 22 or 25 they start being quite lower than the fronts and the handling varies, but other guys started being slower before you).

Have you experimented anythig with overdrive. I have found that my car works best when i cut the fronts 1.5 - 2 mm larger than the rear to get a little bit front overdrive. Having said that i dont really like to cut the rears smaller than the front since they wear faster. Do you know if there are any pulleys available that can give me a little overdrive in the front ??
