this will replace the 3 piece rotor stock, right? for how much they run for?

Sike, prefeer to not talk about business in public, but anyway. I'll do only one time:

The brake rotor costs 22 Euros plus postage (this varies depending where you live). I don't get any profit selling the disks, charge the same that costs at HS. Actually are in backorder (sent more than 25 units to readers of the thread) and much probably arrive more units at the end of May.

27 or 28 pages before, there are some posts from Manticore of the brake rotor. The advantage of this rotor to the stock one is that is made from solid billet steel billet, machined, vented, drilled and tempered for more hardness (seems that weights a little less than the optional Mugen one) and don't warps under hard use (stock ones warp, but mainly due to an improper grounding of the spider core).

If want more info about this, please PM and I will send you as much details as you want.

Compressed air, 2mm allen key and Serpent cleanning putty. After 2 or 3 hours of disassembling and cleaning, my car is ready to the next weekend :D

If I carry the car as is exits the track with all the dust, foam and grease over the car (and those smell) GF surely that killed me many time ago - on the 1/8th scale is the same, but harder to clean, surely that is the main reason that sees the track from time to time . :sneaky:

putty?

What is serpent cleaning putty. Ive got my car all together and now I cannot find a battery for it. The hobby shop does not have the right kind so it looks like I'm going to build my own. I found some 900mah nimh for about 24 bucks for six.

Is a cleaning putty that adheres all the dirt and grease of any surface. Originally was developed for cleaning hands at places that don't have water/soap at hand, but works quite good for cleaning cars because you can press it and the putty goes everywhere picking all the dirt on your car.

You need a pack made by 5 cells of AAA size on hump configuration (3+2 cells ). The 900mah cells seems to me that are on 2/3 AA (usual off-road pack) that don't fits on the Mugen.

batts

Cool, I'll have to look for that.

Yeah they are AAA's. Might have been 750mah. I had some 2/3 A's lying around but could not get the fit.

The other good product from the Snake pit is the One-way lube... best you can buy for your one-way bearings.

Who said that all Serpent products were useless? :D :sneaky: :D :sneaky:

Could not agree more. Those are the exact two items I use from them as well.
