Many of us had some cars that go slightly underweight and needed to put ballast on their cars. Got an NTC3 who wheights 1735grams and about the 'Impulse II' I don't have an idea, I don't care about it, but seemed that the best units go about 1775grams.

2.53:1 is the internal drive ratio. Beware because is affected too by the diameter of your foams.

When is foams related, talking about final ratio is senseless, is better to talk about rollout (how many milimeters travels with one wheel rotation).

We run rubber so final ratio is important.

Sheeeesh!!!!!

Please, read the phrase under my signature. Foams are for electrics. :D

Trying only to stip up a little this thread, don't take as an attack.

supra528 04-20-2003 01:55 PM

so then its not nessesarly good to have a really light car???

Bryan N. 04-20-2003 05:21 PM

Nope.

supra528 04-20-2003 05:50 PM

but y is that??? i mean wouldnt help with the speed and acceleration?? wat would be bad about it???

Bryan N. 04-20-2003 06:06 PM

There's nothing wrong with light, but at sanction races they check your weight. I rather be alittle heavier then get a qualifing DQ'ed. Also with weight your car is more stable.
