That's what many including myself would have liked to have seen at the Worlds. Kenji Osaka + MTX-3 and other Japanese factory teams. What will be the next big event that will attract international factory drivers?
|
1/8 scale Worlds qualifier in Florida late this year/early next year (?), then the actual Worlds event itself next year in Cincinnati. I'm not sure about the next major Touring event. I have no idea about any upcoming major electric events.
|
the 1/8 qualifier in miami in December will only be US talent most likely since it is for the ROAR block. The 1/8 worlds in cincin next year - I wouldn't miss it for the "world". :) Can't wait to see the best in the world driving the pinnacle of cars in RC :D

re rear diff
CSF0623

WWWWWWOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
thanks m8 |
Not sure exactly how long the straight is. It is 291metres in total. Most MTX-2 drivers run 18/22, 47/43 gearing. The car holds the lap records in both IFMAR and Outlaw events.
Now it holds the lap record, and also won the Aussie titles too! Gearing cant be too bad.. (p.s Aussie titles were held at Lilydale, not Moorebank. But it still had a bloody long straight) |
ORDERED
CONSIDER IT ORDERED!!!!
thats right, my folks ordered it 5 minutes ago, unofrtunately, this will be a hannukah gift i will have to pay for:flaming: :flaming: but who cares, i have 1 of 3 mtx-3's that speedtech ordered. i will be receiving mine on december 3rd......because hannukah doesnt start till the thirtieth |
speedtech only got 3?
|
unfortunately yes, but think about it, 2500 cars in the first shiment. half going to the US, thats 1250 cars coming to the USA, then cut that in half, thats 625. thats 625 kits with no engine, and 625 kits with engine, tires, and pipe. speedtech only got three because with only 1250 kits to go around the country, theres no way speedtech could get more, because the hundreds of other smaller hobbyshops countrywide would not be able to provide their racers with the mini snake killer!!
but thats not whats important, whit is important is that im getting one for sure:D :D :ha: |
make sure you do it justice then. :D
|
you can be sure that i will!!!
to make sure of this, i stressed to my parents that the uys at the track dont like me using their setup systems and that with the caliber cars im running, (mtx-2, Mtx-3!!) it was really a nessecity for me to get my own set up system so, not only am i getting the car, but im almost positive a Ultimate SetUp system by Hudy will also be sitting under the menorah this hannukah!! |
Dang, are you're parents rich????? ahhaha, I was spoiled when I was you're age too, just make sure you appreciate it. Good luck with the MTX-3!
