Cartman: we are carrying 3racing parts, which is the original company that is making those parts.

Thanks.

I have on my pocket all the belts for the car (plus spares ) I'm ready to run this weekend, we have our first race of the season (don't matter if rains, snow or worse, we're hardcore and want to run some serious heats), but seems that competition is fierce, until now, booked to the race 21 and 6 are MTX3 like mine.

BTW: Dennis, how are those little series of engines that you planned to do? everyday I search on E-bay without no luck.

What you think about stock setup?

Well, many of us have riden our cars for some time (some other got lots of snow... ) what you think about the stock setup? basically all MTX3 owners of my track did almost the same changes (B ackermann, a little less rear toe-in, 30K on the rear diff and a set of 40's everywhere).

Looks like K Factory has joined the long list of new MTX3 hop up parts. Its funny, the MTX2 had more issues with it, and it was always hard to find hop-ups for. The MTX3 however is a huge improvement, yet there are more and more hop-ups coming out.

I personally think and will only probably get the alum front ARB holders. This will dramatically improve the accuracy of the front Anti-roll bar. The last thing I'd want to be doing is making the car lighter!! - Im just making the legal weight by a few grams!

5th body post is OK too (haven't seen a photo of it but is interesting), but all is about personal likings. Regarding lightening everyone has their opinions, personally I prefeer a slightly underweight car and put the weight where I want (as low as possible), but thinking on the 2 speed lightened housings and other parts like aluminium center bulkhead, engine brace and few.

I'm going along that same thinking. I'm barely legal weight as it is stock. I think it will be seriously underweight after the tires get worn down some. So I'm in the process of lightening the driveline, but adding weight in a few strategic places. Hopefully this will work out.

Does anyone have a rubber tire setup for low/medium traction track? Also how can you smooth out the acceleration of the car. When I grab throttle the car accelerates way to hard for the parking lot track I'm racing on.

there is no difference in compounds the main difference is
the new wheels have a 2mm off set to bring the width to
200 mm if you use the old wheels you will end up with a 196mm
width wich changes the handling of the car you could use
hpi or other wheel spacers to use the older elligi wheels.

as for tire set up use the rear c block and use the most up
right shock settings in the tower and add more rear toe
as for tonning down the accellaration you could loosen
up the clutch spring or add more spacers anything to
make the clutch engage a little sooner.

now for RD logics update we have a new pipe available
it is a larger volume pipe to match the new crop of
short stroke engines such as the mr 12, sirio, and jp
part #61215l for the one peice and 61225l for the 2 peice

i recomend the older pipe design for mt 12 and os tr

the mtx3 parts should be available soon at speedtech and elite
hobby's

jwf_frani - What does the rear C block do? Is it anti-squat? Have you tried the C blocks w/rubber tires. About how much toe should I use as a starting point for rubber tires?

rc friend the c block raises your roll center giving additional
traction wich you need for rubber tire setup.

as for rear toe i recomend 2-3 degrees of toe in on each side
i also forgot go with the thinest shim for your rear upright
to your upper camber link so it will lay down more. to decrease
camber change. if you can go back a few pages cart man
modified his rear upright lowering it a few mm. this is only
recomended if you can accurately trim the uprights evenly.
