I not sponsored by Yokomo in no way so they cant say anything about what I do to my car. It wont be an exact copy of the Mugen but more my own design.

I am not actually racing my Yokomo in the foam class this year. It is more of a pet project I am working on as a test bed for parts that will be used on my own brand kit available in 2004.

The rubber class is the biggest by a long way but the foam class is growing and still attracts top names like Mark Green, Glen Beale and a few others.

I not 100% sure but I read somewhere about the Reedy International and I think it could be Tibshelf or Halifax. I think it definately was a Northern track.

We will just have to wait and see.

We run Serpent Gearboxes and Centax clutches on our Yokomos. Its only a matter of machining a new shaft and altering it to accept a Serpent gearbox. I'm sure the same can be done with the V1RR.

As for the MTX3. It definately will be the car to beat. Thats why I'm currently modding my Yokomo to the same rear suspension layout and lay down steering system.
Nothing is impossilbe if want to do it.. yes. u need to machine a new shaft.uses diff bearing and spur gears and alot of more stuff
no one will stop you... but what i was trying to saying was that.
ID posted somewhere that Kyosho Drivers werebolting on the serpent 2 speed on their V1R...... do you think that is worth it?
when both of them change the same system.

Cool. I agree with you there. I dont see the point of bolting something similar onto a car for another manufacture. The only reason we did it with the Yokomo was so that we could have the clutch shoe type gearbox because it is far better than the finger type.

Hi AMGRacer:

You will have a over-drive if you replace the 27T pulley to a 25T on a V1R. But you got to change to a short belt from the RR (375mm). Btw the RR come with only the 25T only.
