I just got home from the Toledo, Club Race today.

The bite was good but nothing like the GLC will be. I ran 40's on my RRR, as far as I know the most common tire used is 40, during the GLC you may need 42's, last year some guys were using 45's on the front because of traction rolling. My son Bobby used 40 front and 42 rears to get more steering on his FW05-R at the nationals. Bottom line you should be able to make 40's or 42's work.

Thanks, Squish on the 3.1 Stratus update. Mr Lee and I spoke about yesterday. He knew the body was in to ROAR, but was not sure it was thru yet. We were both pretty sure something would happen before this weeks race.

1/8th tires should be 35's Fronts and rears, might want to have some 37's round.

Racers,

Limited number of spots left for this years GLC.

We have 11 spots available for open 1/8th, 2 spots open for 1/10th open, 4 spots open for 1/8th Masters and 6 spots open for the .12 Sedan.

Again, make sure you set up your Motel reservations. The track asphalt is pretty hard to sleep on.

According to the roar website, the Stratus 3.1 200mm was aprroved on June 30th. I am going to assume it will be legal for the GLC as its approval is more than one month prior to the actual race.

Yes, the 3.1 Stratus will be legal at this years GLC.

At the present time the GLC has 70 entered in 1/8th with 2 openings.
11 entered in 1/10th open with one opening.
21 entered in 1/18th masters with 1 opening.

We have added one more main of .12 sedan. Over our better judgement.
47 entered and 9 spots left.

This means we will have to start the mains on Sunday a little before 9 AM.

Racers if you look at the big picture, this means limited track and practice time because of the amount of entries. In English, try to break your engines in at home or in the next couple of weeks.

Track hours are 8 AM to 8 PM.

Remember, we are doing this to have fun.
