We will give everyone until around July 1st to pre-enter. After July 1st or 4th we will annouce that we are taking second entries. At that time racers can send in their second entry.

This should give everyone who wants to attend the race time to get entered. The race will have a limit of around 140 entries.

2Hammer

There was a meeting last Sunday to help firm up this years rules for the ARCA oval event for the Great Lakes Challenge.

1) Cars need to run an ARCA or Nascar style body. No wedge shaped bodies.
2) This year you can run either 2 or 4 wheel drive cars.
2 wheel drive cars can run a 2.5" rear spoiler max.
4 wheel drive cars can run a 1.5" rear spoiler max.
No side dams or wings are allowed.
3) Max engine size is .21
4) Either 1/8th or 1/10th cars.
5) Follow ROAR specs. for cars fuel tank size and wght. for the size of car entered.

We will run an Oval practice on Friday night. The main event is scheduled for Sat. Evening of the GLC.

Reminder you need to make your hotel reservations soon. We have a good number of racers signed up for the event. For some reason the Holiday Inn rooms are almost filled up. Howard Johnson and Super 8 have only One room each taken so far.
