OVAL Racers.

Unfortunately we will not be running the 1/8th ARCA oval this year at the GLC. Track time will not be available. Our priority maybe off a little, that oval is wild.

Plans now are to run that race at the Toledo MWS race in Sept. So keep your cars ready for battle.

Yes, there is no 120 or 121 at the track but Josh's Halo Hobbies is less than 300 ft. from the track if you need to do some soldering. He may be able to spare a volt or two.

Sorry, no air. We will do the best we can to get you some track time to get your car a little dirty. We should have dip drums to wash off your bodies.

Both the 1/8th open and .12 sedan are full. I will be around to check on the 1/10th open and 1/8th masters entries this Friday. As of Sunday we had one opening in 1/10th open and 1/8th Masters.

Thanks Josh for letting us ship stuff to your track. I was getting ready to ask that as some of the tires I want are not expected into the US until the end of next week. Now I know I can have them shipped to your track.

Ted did you forget I took that last 10th open spot last sunday. Or was the detroit heat causing (well you know) Or did another slot mysteriously appear. Maybe it was me who forgot to send you an email.

PS I expect it to be ugly this weekend again. I'm gonna bring an ice bag to wear as a hat. I'll just hang a Novarossi sticker on it and I'll be stylin.

brooklynrc, last year I ran 37's up to 42's. It just depended how crazy the traction got. I did hear of people running 45's on the front though.

Lookout Dennis! I picked up a new engine for my 835 last week!!! My 835 is my "lucky charm" car... it stayed together for me to finish second at the winternats with it!

Motorman,

You have been added to the 1/10th open group. One other racer will not make it up from FL and 3 guys signed up in the 1/10th open and really wanted .12 Sedan. That switch has been made.

We appreciate everyone interest in the Great Lakes Challenge, and ask for your understanding during the practice times. It will be tough to get much time on the track with this turn out.

We will not be taking walk up sign ins at the track before the event.

An updated entry list will be posted on our web site this Sunday.

1/8th open; 72 entries plus 2 alternates. FULL
1/10th open; 8 entries 4 spots available.
1/8th masters; 21 entries 1 spot available.
.12 Sedan; 67 entries plus 1 alternate. FULL

REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR ROAR CARDS. They are required, or you can sign up at the track.

JP
I'm bringing a 200MM VDS goose with a Richey Eagle 9 port 12 based on an X12 Mugen motor. I pulled out the stops on this hand grenade.
