Exactly I hate wasting tires. Lately I've been running approximately 55mm front and 56.5mm rears and then not using them anymore, but I have a bunch of 53 and 54mm tires so I think I'll make use of them. Set up is not a problem, I just dont want the tires shred apart during a race.

BTW: With the car at 199mm you're pretty confident you will not get problems with techs due to a 'too wide car' and the difference is almost negligible.

ya it looks like your track is too wide and for the dogbones i use 1 o ring on the wheel end and fuel tubing on the diff side oh and how are you doing the track how do you measure it where on the tires.

This has probably been covered before, but is it fairly usual for the MTX4 to eject dogbones when you give it a good whack to the front end? I ejected a bone and lost an outdrive today. Shame too cause the car was fast.
Also how long are most of you getting out of your bearings? One of my front small stub axle bearings is already toast. It was the one I gave a whack to, perhaps it sustained some damage. Funny thing is I never killed a R40 bearing in 2 1/2 years...........
