2. How many versions of kit are there? I know there is an international version (no tires), Americas version (tires) and I think a European version (anything special about this kit?) Is the "SP" version the European version?

3. Does anybody have a picture of the kit contents before they built the car?

Thanks!
1. My case: 1 week ( relax mode ) or 3 days ( hectic mode ) to race ready condition.

2. I don't know but I can assume 3 version : Asia, Europe, America

3. I have. If you want, I can post it again later.

1. Let's see... on assembling the car I spent around 2 days... but putting into shape for racing, polishing all the little details, count around 4 or 5 days with several tests between it.

2. AFAIK... there's only one version, the MTX4, depending on what the importer asked could carry tyres or not (mine came with tyres). The 'SP' version is a combo originally made by french and came with front CVD's and the necesary parts to build the front diff, not more, not less...

3. Too late... I don't know the rest, but I suspect that everyone rushed to open the bag and start to build the car few seconds after entering home...

It took you 2 hours from the time you opened the box on your MTX 4 until it was ready to go onto the track? Engine, servos, linkage etc......

Do you by chance sell bridges for a living???

It took me about 24 hours to get it from the box to the starting grid.

8 hours of careful assembly.
2 hours to cut, mount, paint, decal the body.
2 hours to run in a new engine.
2 hours to setup the car and engine as close to race conditions as possible.

The 10 hours were inclusive of sleep, meals, travel, setting up the pit table, retrieving the car when it stalls on the track, truing tyres, and answering questions of "what car are you running?", "what engine are you running?".

that is funny
It takes me about two hours to do 2 diffs, all 4 shocks, and carbon fibre parts prepping (with CA glue). Must be some very quick hands to build the whole car in two hours *wish I could do it*

Regards,
Believe me if i tell you that 3Racing CVD's are really crap. Snapped 3 in a row during a club race. Next weekend got a pair of Mugen and in 4 years, only snapped one (well... that CVD snap costed me to put a brand new front end and a new steering servo).

Mugens are expensive, but their durability is out of question (and cheap on the long run), seen many pairs that survived on the MTX3 and were installed on a MTX4 (me is one case... but know others too).

Regarding the CVD's:

What Corse R said is the truth. In a very short time, the Mugen ones will actually be cheaper. For CVD's only put the Mugen parts on your car. They are far superior to aftermarket parts.
