Anyone try the new 2 speed kit from 3Racing? It is pretty different from the stock one. Looks pretty nice. I may get one since it is only $30.

Default 600 wt mugen oil = X weight losi etc

so since the real racing season started and I got my MTX4's I haven't had time to figure it out(21 days at the shop without a day off) whats the conversion between mugen oil and losi or asc oils.. I thought it might make sense if it was mugen 600 = 60 wt losi ... but that might make to much sense..

thanks,

Patrick "Too Busy to race lil cars" B........

i dont have their 2speed kit but i did order their new delrin spur gears, they promised to be tougher and more durable then the stock one. besides it's rather unconventional blue color , i will see how it works compared with stock ones.

if in doubt , start with rdlogics turbo 3. i have good experience with their turbo 2 pipe when i still had my jp. good power band and awesome top end. of course the new skyline vr12 should also be on your list, i have not tried it personally but i have heard lots of good things about it.

less rotating mass = faster spool, faster acceleration, faster rpm, and in some cases could be faster top speed due to higher rpm.

Tag, I'd be very interested in the results. I am thinking of giving them a try myself. I have a feeling there won't be much change in lap times but durability is important too.

Thanks in advance.

Default Skyline Pipes

I want to pick up a 6mm stinger version of the Skyline VR12 .12 muffler and header. Everywhere I look it's the 5mm (legal) version. Anywhere I can get the 'fun' oooops, I mean the Outlaw version?

I need it shipped overseas. I can pay with paypal.

Thanks.

I`ve been out for testing some pipes the last weekend. For me the JP EFRA 2620 with the conical header rocks! I am very impressed there is power over the whole range. Especially the low end power is amazing. Here in europe you can get the pipe for about 65Euro.
