hmmm

i went to my lhs and he told me the kyosho ones are 60 dollars for 2 so i asked for some aftermarket ones and they where 45 for 2

i think ill keep saving and look around

muhahah i rebuilt my first RC car

its a tamiya superhornet and it is so much fun

its stock but im going to get a 14 turn motor a esc and a nice high capacity batt pack

The fail safe only works when u have no battery power to appose it doesnt it, so if u lose signal its going to do nothing.
But if the batterys die, it will close the carby.
Am i right with that or rong?

nah it will go the the desied settign if it goes out of range or if your tranmitter bastts goes dead or if the reviver bats go dead

u should have it set to brake

Rc tech isnt posting my messages properly.

Any way, sounds like a good investment the fail safe



Sausage, im looking a moding my Pure ten mantis, putting soft tyres on the rear, and making it like a funny drag car so that it sits up off the mark.

Bit of weight in the rear and good tyres. Hopefully it will work.

OK Heres how it is;

The failsafe will only work if there is
a) A frequency clash ( same freq or Tpi (third party intermodulation)
b) no signal to the reciever

It will not function in a low power situation as it takes more power to turn a servo than it does to receive the signal therefore there is no power to power the failsafe itself....u confused yet....
