Default Hold your horses!

Sorry to say sausage..... but to be in stock, at least legally, you'll have to stick with the kit engine .

If you raced with me then it'd be no worries, you would be allowed to race with a new engine, you just can't race in any inter-club events.

I dunno how strict Dandenong are on the specs of your car though..... so yeah.

And hey...... how come you have enough money for a new engine now, or are you just dreaming?

sausage_link:

your engine stalling problem..
your Clutch is probably still engaging while you brake .. try it with a hard clutch spring or drill holes to make yr clutch lighter

chuck a new glowplug in first and see how it goes!
Also when you adjust the engine let the engine warm right up first so its right up at operating temp.

dreaming :P
also ive tighted my clutch spring and drilled a hole thru each shoe

ive also recently ported out the manifold

but i dont see how that will cause problems cause my car ran sweet when it was ported and i just took some material off the inside of the manifold opening

if your shifting point is late. like about 1/2 of the straight.
you have to loosen the setscrews ..
how many turn depend on how tight is your screw being tighten
you could try 1/4 of a turn and then try the car on the track..
if it doesnt shift as per what u wanted.then bring it back and loosen it 1/4 turn again.. untill u can get it right..
Thanx jack...my two speed is now engagin nicely...didn noe i need to loosen it tat much

[B]Firstly, does the track where you wish to race allow .15 size engines, if not you will have to replace the standard engine irrespectively! The next question is whether or not you want a pullstart or bump start type car...you can put a bumpstart engine into a v-one-s however a v-one-r or mugen will not accept a pullstart motor.
Dont make the mistake of buying some mega-horse power car that will turn you away from the sport because its too difficult to get it around the track with limited experience.

Thanks a lot Squizzytaylor.

Well I am a newbie in this hobby. I own a elec. Truck long time ago. Anyway, Do you know the SPEC. of the V-1 S GS15-R. I am thinking to swap out the GS15 R w/ the HPI 12R SS. again thanks you for the input.
