Stock setup is really good. The only changes I made so far,
500k in front diff, 60k rear, 2.0 rear anti roll bar and blue springs up front.
I also tried the rear shock extensions and liked it enough to leave them. The tracks I run on have real high traction by mid day and the car works good. I still have alot of testing to do, but I found a real good starting point

A loaded question. I would start with the default setup and tweak it to your satisfaction. There is no "best setup". the best well rounded setup is a more valid question. And for this; I would use the default setup.

Pass you soon...

What's the reason for cutting the part that holds the front diff in? For flex without using the flex system? Maybe weight?
I noticed he did this on the 747 when redrc showed pictures of his car one other time

The center body post? That's for more downforce in the front

On Mark Green's 747 the graphite top deck was cut. The upper diff bracket was stock. And yes it adds more flex to the front.

Yes it is the 748.
Just using it as an example. There was another time they spotlighted grenier's car on redrc and he did the same thing

I saw that too, the 2 front screw holes were cut off.
IMHO, cutting the diff bracket would have more influence on front flex.

Actually it does not. The diff bracket attaches to the front shock tower which will still prevent flex (unless i pivots on the mounting screws in which case you'd end up with tweak).

The reason for the cut is that it frees up the front bearings a little. You can use a sanding drum on the underside of the nylon diff bracket where the plastic bearing retainer sits. Remove a little material so the bearing retainer can slide left right a little easier. Makes the front a lot more free!

Right, forgot the shock tower.

Mainly keeps the front of the body from deflecting at high speed. Keeps the body off the front tyres. Plus it adds strength when you are lifting up the car by the body when refuelling in the pits.

Best place for the center body post is right from the servo saver. It usually lines up at the bottom of the windshield where most times is where the body flexes downward as the car is in motion.
