I use a hi-tech 965MG... I am still playing with brakes... having a ton of brake can be bad if you have no "feel"... so I am trying different things.. I try to manage my brakes and my tires... somebody that was at the byrons race said he saw a GT driver change tires during a main... that suprised me.. I can get 2 full race weekends out of set of tires... and the parking we race in is like a cheese grinder.. AND TZ just laid down a new surface.. gonna be sweet for the GP!

Keep in mind I run 2 sets of brakes.. each brake engages at a different time!
i posted some pics a few posts back

Ofna makes a great upgrade brake pad set. I don't know the number off hand , but it is a must do for the GT class.

They are very hard to come by at the moment, but there are a few other options that are showing a lot of promise.

Here is a realy short vid that was shot on Sunday.... I was helping Dave E break in a new motor... reason for all the blips and puttering around.. he laid down a 13.9 in practice.... That was the old record!

As I walked the track and painted on saturday.. My sandals started to stick to the pavement!... not gooie... just that sweet sound of traction... if the VHT does its job too.. hang on to your hat... you might see a GT car with a low 18 second lap...the lap records are up for grabs!

Hate to tell you guys but the body is not new. They just revived it. I was running this one 3+ years ago back in the Bass Pro Series days in Jackson, MS. With my set-up back then, it was on par with the Kyosho Ferrari body on short/medium tracks. It performed OK on the big track, showing its strength on the technical infield portions of a big track.
