hey, I have been playing around with one, found it worked great on big flowing track. but on our club track thats kind of tight I would pick up a bad mid corner push in the tight stuff but on the fast sweepers the car was great.only problem 90% the track is tight, maybe if there was a thicker fluid one could run it might free the car up some.

It was very long i didn't even read this V1RRR thread. Suprise me most of you still here sharing the experience. My V1RRR was converted to V1RRR Evo and then sold to a friend. Now i bought a brand new V1RRR Evo kit back again instead replacing old parts to a new one. And i just start to love setting the car relatively to the track condition and layout. The car is good the only thing to work with is the throttle speed and the consistency. ( Driving skill + good engine speed).

Default front spool - kawahara??

hey guys im looking for the best spool combination for the rrr
currently im using the front diff case with the lock converter inside. its very durable but i have to grind down diff cases for it to fit.

what is the best aftermarket one to use? i tried the kyosho one that was released at the worlds but it didnt last long at all and stripped out the outdrives.

the kawahara and k-factory ones look real good, what are peoples opinions on thesE?

thanks
John

where can I find more pro drivers setups, besides the kyosho website? Also how will a spool or solid front diff affect the way my rrr drives compared to the stock one way

Default side to side free play in 2 speed shaft?

hi

i have always had an issue with the side to side movement in my 2 speed shaft. have you guys had to shim this? i found that by placing some shims between the brake disk holder and pinion gear the slop gets minimal but no one else that has a rrr at my track has had to do t his..weird i think?

I have the same problem with both of my RRR, and the slop in the 2 speed shaft. I shimmed bewteen the 1st and 2nd spur gears, and it works great now. I too have yet to see anyone else with the same problem, but this small fix does the trick. I had to do it with both of my cars though.
