A question for the guys building the car at the moment.
Are the pivot balls steel or alloy?
I just hate alloy balls.

Kyosho normally put the Cast Steel balls in their kits which do tend to snap.
I recommened upgrading to the Kyosho Titanium items, which I have yet to bend, let alone snap.

The stock balls do break. I have been using the black harden steel ones from the Evolva on the FW05R and RRR and never had a problem since.

Yes, they almost all leak. Put a soldering iron around it and re-seal the seams.

Hey guys,

I was wondering what type of Novamax pipe this is?

It seems to be a low-mid pipe but the person selling it has told me it is a Top end pipe???

Can anyone help me on this?

Thanks In Advance

The CA will not hold. The fuel will eat through it eventually. Jeff actually tried this first on his tank. We told him it wouldn't work and as expected the glue came off. Soldering the plastic together is the only sure safe method of sealing the tank seam.

I think the leaky tank issue has been adressed by Kyosho since some of the new tanks I've seen on new cars are noticably different and tighter fitting than the older and leak prone tanks. The tanks issue shouldn't be a factor now if someone is looking to buy the car.

Peter, I actually had shoe goo on it and not CA so CA might work...

just got back from the florida state race. my rrr worked ok. i was happy with it. but i would like to say one thing, that username GRINDER was super fast. he is on this forum and also runs the rrr. he tq'd the race and would have won if not for some unfortunate problems. he was the fastest out there.
