What droop setting are you running?

Cheers, Mark.
Hi Mark,

I've got no idea why it didn't work for me, I'm hoping to try out something new on the car this coming weekend. Previously I was running the gold rear long springs up front and silver front short springs on the rear with the longer shock ends, rear camber link in the "OUT" position, and the lower rear arm positioned at 2nd highest position; the car handled very well for me in my previous race, but things can only improve I guess.

WHen I put on the longer Fantom red rear springs, it seemed to me that the shock end and shaft is not long enough to give me enough of free downstop, even with the shock body adjuster at its highest possible position, I'm comfortable with 3-5mm of downstop, and upper shock mounting position at hole 2 or 3. I've messed around with the shock ends, mounting position, camber link and lower arm position, but things just didn't work like the way I want them to be; the ride height given by the longer spring is also too much for my liking. I'll get down to try to work around the car later, maybe I'll give more details on it.

On side note, the springs you used, is it the FM parts?

Talking about spring guys, can below springs fit into V1RRR stock spring adjuster and the stock shock body ? It indicated about the FMW24...

Evolva 1/8 spring
FMW12-418 Front Spring Light Blue (Use with FMW24 - Spring adjuster (14mm))

Hi Mark, just an update after I got back to working around with the car again...of all the possibilities I've attempted to make the longer Fantom springs to work, I did not try it on with the stock shock ends......and it works! Must have been lack of sleep due to late night sleeps on WC matches and F1 race nights... My bad...thanks Mark!

Hi Esham, the front light blue spring that you've stated should work percectly, it's the same length as the RRR short front springs. I was using the front short silver springs on the rear during the last LRP race, with the longer shock ends so that you will get enough shock length, works perfect. I do not know what difference does the FMW24 spring adjuster bring, but the short spring will work on the RRR spring adjuster with the longer shock ends.

what is the part number of the spring ?? And rated as Hard, middle or soft ??
Have you try on the Blue rear spring from Falcom ? and do you have that part number as well ?

chances are the screws you put in are hitting something and causing the diff the feel extremely tight... what it really sounds like you need is a new diff housing so the original screws that your suppose to use wont come loose...hope this helps..
