Boy!! Been there done dat. You live in NY you get used to it. The worst part for us is where we run: it's less than a mile off the water with no obstacles. Under 40f with anything more than 10mph wind, I do not go. Over 30 with relatively no wind is racing weather here.

Ozpal. Of course everyone is going to have an opinion on this one. I would say if you just started racing in the last year to stay with the V-one S (not spend too much money upgrading it) until you can drive it faster than it will go. Then there are several cars out there that will perform well. I like the RR Evo because it is a bit stronger than the RRR (My opinion). Good luck and have fun racing.

After all with over 130 trophies (in 12 years) I must be doing something right.
Fear of knowledge, usable or not, will only stunt our growth. I beat guys with just as many trophies and years racing, if, not more. I'm able to do so because these racers have decided to stop learning, growing and improving. They (trophies) only really matter when you place first thru third. I take no pride, in a room, full of EIGHTH place trophies.

I just bought spur gears, pinions, and the optional rear sway bars and spring set. including rear white springs from the 1/8 scale. If you are just gonna race at one area just see which spring set and sway bar the fast guys are using and just buy what is needed. as for replacement parts, I would buy
an extra mainshaft (2spd shaft) and rear hubs.

now on to hop ups. and rx. i like the skyline shock tower, and rx packs. I also bought the muffler stay but the wce already comes with a nice mufler stay so you probably wont need that.

Well if you have a local hobby shop with the parts I wouldn't recommend
loading up on parts. but if parts are hard to come by then
I would buy an extra set of upper/lower bumber set, front arms, rear arms,
and lower hinge pins. I don't know if the wce already comes with the thicker
rear shock tower but if it doesn't i would also pick up the skyline shock tower.

Check the front toe-angles to make sure theyre the same, also check that tyre diameters are even and that the radios end point adjustments are set correctly....also check the droop screws are set evenly and the shocks are correctly built.
