a) the very thin oil allows for a very loose diff off power preventing the rear from stepping out.
b) under load the plates in the diff tighten up to restict the freeness of the diff so trying to lock the rear diff under power to prevent diffing out, this also helps to prevent the rear from stepping out under power.
VZW009 - TCD Gear Set
Traction Control Differential parts feature bevel gears mounted in floating blocks to maximise power transfer when racing.

Hi, understand that the optional 24t middle belt pulley will have a drive ratio of 1:1, does it mean that we need not true the front tire anymore ? Anyone can advise how's the handling as compared to the 23t, e.g better front control ?

Rear Drive Shaft
Question to anyone who know the answer. Who makes a good light weight rear drive shaft? I have already tried the 3racing one and I am some what disappointed with the results. Also, where can I get one?
Thank you, Tenderfoot

i had very even tire wear. you still have to true the front tires. the rear and front tires do not come the same exact size out of the box. also, i would say that the rear tires still wear a little faster than the front. also, i think it gave me a tad better handling, but it seamed as though the car was not as quick. i was getting slower lap times. tested the 23t and 24t on same day at same track, and 23t gave me faster lap times. hope this helps.

Apparently Kyosho are making a titanium 2 speed shaft now as well (i think the part number was posted a few pages back here).... being Kyosho I`d say its of high quality.
