I have ordered from KT many times, they have always come through.

How is Horizon's customer support?
Is it better than Serpent USA?

I have been dealing with Serpent USA for about a year now and find them to be very helpful and quick.

SERPENTFREAK69 & Jag, I aree with you guys 100%.
Whenever I had a problem they were quick to ship me out the part that I needed.
I don't think Horizon would do that for the Hudy/Xray customers.

I am very disappointed that Hudy and Xray are not with Serpent USA. I looked at them like a one-stop-shop for a lot of high quality stuff. Stuff that my LHS does not stock. Now I am going to have to order parts/tools from several places.

I agree with you; now I have to order from different places too.
that waste a lot of shipping cost.
Have no idea what is going on in US market now
every company seems weird in their policy
if they don't want to do bussiness, let me do it for them

What happens when your Hudy lathe goes bad? Before when you had a problem with it, you'd send it to Serpent USA, Art Carbonell would take a look at it, fix it and ship it back within one week. I had a friend have to send his truer in to do this recently. Now who knows, my guess is that thing is going to have to go overseas to get serviced. Anyone having to deal with HUDY for product support replacement at this time?

Very good source? I suppose it's a secret and you can't tell anybody?

It's R/C America actually and based out of Texas. They will make an announcement shortly I believe and most likely have stuff ready to ship in the next 3-4 weeks.

Is this tied to Ralph Burch in any way?

Several racers (who should know) told me at the Great Lakes Challenge that the new distributorship will be RC America, with Ralph Burch.

Ralph is a great guy, and thoroughly understands all the products, so that's going to be good news for him and for racers needing tech support.

(It's not such great news to several of us at Serpent USA, who no longer work there because of the sudden impact on the operating situation.)

Anyway, give the people involved a bit of time to get things sorted out properly, and I'm sure when they're ready, there will be lots of communication to/with all the racers as to what's going on.

I suspected something was going to happen a few months ago. But was unsure of what Ralph was telling me.
