Gotta agree with the Orion Alpha ABI .12, smooth bottom and mid range, very strong Hi-RPM, Excellent run time, Incredible Price/Value........

Just get the Titainum suspension Pivot Balls and Tie Rods and call it Good.

I have Two RRR's with Life Rx packs and Std weight bodies, Large/heavy diffs, both weigh less than 1700 grams.

If the R4 uses 9mm pivot balls then the RRR's should work, Kyosho part # VZW024V-8, (A Main Hobbies has them for $70 USD), either Lunsford or possibly Kyosho RRR Tie Rods, these are 46mm in length, #92415 would lighten the steering system.

Note- Xray and Capricorn use 8.4mm pivot balls if thats what the R4 would need.

Lightbulb tie rods

is there any difference as far as strength is concerned from the turn buckles on the r4 versus the rrr's of past? im using xray rods on my rrr.2shimo. that seems to be the weakest part for me.

Did the site really say that the 1 piece motor mount was carved from wood?! Look at the pic on the bottm left.
