The US team went with the R15 and most of the euro's went with the 909. Ralph said the R15 for sure had more steering out of the two but the 909 was a little easier to drive. I think cause it make more rear bite.

Remember to check out the RCAmerica/Xray/Hudy thread on here.

Here are the parts numbers for the rear red springs that the team ran.
(4) springs #308388------- (2) springs #338288
The springs are the light red 35lb.

Thanks Drew

Thanks Drew
I follow the default cutting lines for the enigne and wheel, the distance is around 22-23 mm from mid of the bumper.

If you mean the "optional" receiver pack that the RX8 talks about... I believe its the same "optional" receiver pack for the NT1. Xray doesn't make them, because a pack so small has to be lipo.

I'd suggest to search eBay for a 1100mah lipo with a height no greater than 12-13mm.

We have Lipo SRC 1600 rx packs that the team used in stock at RCAmerica.

Also if you want a quicker response to your post, post in the RCAmerica thread, like I said before I keep up with that thread.

Thanks Drew

WRONG ! Ive just purchased an NT1 clutch shoe and as I suspected this is a smaller diameter than the RX8 so its not a direct fit at all.

are they ceramic, and hows the quality over acer, i was surprised to see the stock xray rx8 bearings were not only faster, smoother, but also lighter?? i thought that was supposed to be the other way around, so i am ceramic bearing shopping as we speak, i contacted abec35 as they have a few kit ceramic for the rx8 and all under the acer price/ and if there better, by by acer bearings...i was really surprised, i wished i had a lil weight scake cause by feel the stock xray bearings "felt" lighter? who makes the "best' set of ceramics, is it the orange seal 250 dollar boca's i hope not

I talked about the brass battery tray, its identical with NT1. Not the clutch shoe.

But the clutch weight from NT1 can apply on RX8, can fit between between the poles similar the Kyosho white wieght, it push outward and fast response.
