Xray has made new springs for the car that will be out shortly, they are all black. Like gk said the number is engraved on top of the coil. Sorry not sure what comes in a kit. But the spring I think pretty much the whole team ran was the 7.0 in the front. The red spring we ran in the rear is the same red spring that is for the rear of the NT1 and the electric cars. That spring has been around for awhile. I think its a 35lb spring.

Mike what up, for sure and stop by. We get in Thursday at 3 and will most likely be at the track the whole time.

All pistons are in 2 holes, but for sure black 6.2 from the kit is too bumpy for my track. I will try to have MRX5 setting on F/R in white spring, 600 cst oil, but my cornern is, RX8 has much lower CG and roll center than MRX5. If my calculation is right, the basic setup already has 2mm roll center above ground, it's very low enough, I even tried the lower R.C. The car can't turn cos the RC is below ground.

So my thought is, no basic setup is good, only the fine adjustment needs like changing the springs.

Yes the 38lb spring is right. We are waiting on Xray to get the setup sheets online so we can fill them out.

We were running non adjustable 3 hole 800cst front and 2 hole 700 rear. We also ran 2 hole all the way around with 700 cst. I think that is a safe starting spot so you can get the feel of the car. Then change to the 3 hole 800 setup in the front.

The white spring is the most similar to the 7.0.

Hope that helps. There will be more info once the set up sheets are online.

Thanks Drew

Maybe we can make all the onroad tracks on the west coast disappear. Brilliant, Will what exactly is so funny about that?

Looks like two less lapped traffic to deal with? Now thats funny!

every race i attend i have a good time weather I'm lap traffic or not but westcoast racing based on what happens at the silverbowl i never claim to be fast i just claim to have fun & hope it rubs of on other racers i think stracks comment was amusing to me so now all westcoast racing failures are related to this. it used to be one of the best now its the worst atmosphere on the racing scene always drama id rather be lap traffic & have fun than lap traffic & miserable

I wont pollute this thread anymore. I will express my opinions about a race in it's own thread.

For those racers posting from the US, it my be easier to get your question answered on the RCAmerica/Xray/Hudy thread. The staff and team from Xray USA checks that thread more often. So all of your question will be seen. It makes it a little easier to stay up on top of one thread with more eyes.

Thanks Drew

Charlie what up, Hope things are well.

Both bodies were 23mm forward. The measurement is from the middle of the bumper with the body mounts forward.

Thanks Drew
