Quick question, for those who have tested, what are the handling differences when you use the different ankerman pills? Seems stock setting is 11 but most setups i found have 10.....what would b benefit or loss from 10 11 or 12?

Thanks

In all of the them 12 is the best for me as it did not oversteer mid way through a corner

Thanks for the info, exactly what i was looking for, i have only the 12 , but I'm looking for a little more mid corner steering, and the 11 or 10 may b the ticket.....i remember trying them all when i ran RRR and i think the pros told me to use 10 and i ended up most comfortable with 11....

When I first started racing and i couldnt get a set-up for my car i would ask some more experinced drivers what to do with my car like harder my rear sway bar, but they forgot to tell me what to do with the front. So what im saying is that you must trust yourself with your own set up and not ask the other person for there half set-up it just wont work. BY all meens you can ask for set-up tips and take them in.

Just my thoughts

Ackerman is quite a difficult setup parameter since it doesn't always work in the same way.
It depends on the rest of the setup and the tires you're running.

Basically there is a optimal ackerman setting for a certain tire. It depends on how much slip angle a tire needs to provide optimal traction. It also changes when the load subjected to the tire changes.

My personal findings with the Capricorn tires and my basic setup:

-10 insert, less steering overall
-11 insert, more turn in, mid corner wash out and less on throttle
-12 insert, nicely balanced, linear feeling through the corner
-13 insert, less turn in, lots of mid and on throttle steering

90% of the time I use the 12mm insert, if not I use the 13 insert.

There is a package with all the ackerman plates included?

The plastic inserts should come with the kit.
The carbon ones are available separate, the 13mm is an aluminium part.

13mm:

Don't think there is a part number for the plastic inserts.

Do you mean that they seized in the roll bar bearings? I have read that is happening. Now I do not know if the products above is made from different magnesium series.
