Quick question, for those who have tested, what are the handling differences when you use the different ankerman pills? Seems stock setting is 11 but most setups i found have 10.....what would b benefit or loss from 10 11 or 12?
Thanks
Thanks

Thanks for the info, exactly what i was looking for, i have only the 12 , but I'm looking for a little more mid corner steering, and the 11 or 10 may b the ticket.....i remember trying them all when i ran RRR and i think the pros told me to use 10 and i ended up most comfortable with 11....

Ackerman is quite a difficult setup parameter since it doesn't always work in the same way.
It depends on the rest of the setup and the tires you're running.
Basically there is a optimal ackerman setting for a certain tire. It depends on how much slip angle a tire needs to provide optimal traction. It also changes when the load subjected to the tire changes.
My personal findings with the Capricorn tires and my basic setup:
-10 insert, less steering overall
-11 insert, more turn in, mid corner wash out and less on throttle
-12 insert, nicely balanced, linear feeling through the corner
-13 insert, less turn in, lots of mid and on throttle steering
90% of the time I use the 12mm insert, if not I use the 13 insert.
It depends on the rest of the setup and the tires you're running.

There is a package with all the ackerman plates included?

Don't think there is a part number for the plastic inserts.

Do you mean that they seized in the roll bar bearings? I have read that is happening. Now I do not know if the products above is made from different magnesium series.
