Got a link to some good pix?
.... Correct... Once traction
comes up at the track..... Car will start to hop... Not good...
last year I tried an old solid axle Associated car and had little
luck .... Being able to toe in the rear tires as well a shaving a diff
really helps drivability....

yes the diff has been our sticking point. seems like you will need too buy one from one of the modern pan car comp. and build your own design around it. the idea of each person doing a bit is good we did that with our school project for my apprentiship.

ALL of them! But unfortunately what I want and what I can actually do are usually not the same!

Here's some great information on not only a few cars but how and why they developed the way they did.

I may have moved way from you guy many moons ago, but I still have a few friends from back home and elsewhere. I've even made a couple of new friends out here in Kansas City, but I will never forget all the good times I had as a member of the One Eighth Racers and all the years we raced together. Just might get a chance to get back for a race event ( just to watch of course, unless you want to loan me one of your real fast cars just to see if I can still keep up with it ). And NO I wouldn't be responsible for the damages. Say HI to Joe, Tweet, John, Klunk, and the rest of the old guys I onced raced with. Miss you guys and the fun meetings at Packo's. Boy, I could sure use some of their ham baked in wine and a side of beans. Guess I'll just have to settle for some of our famous Kansas City BBQ.
All the best to you guys, the club and for a successful 2013 racing season.
You're more than welcome for the bodies. I too was impressed with the quality.

DicK, If you can set a date on being in town and maybe catching a race, I'd be honored to have you run a Motonica P8C pan car. If you break it, no big deal! LETS RACE AGAIN !!

We received our DeltaPlastic bodies today. They are pretty nice alright. We got two Lola T300's and two Porsche GT bodies.

The Lola bodies have very little side dam area in the rear, as the real cars did so, I believe an old school wing, wire and wing tubes would help this body. We will see.

The Porsche GT body is very cool. I think it might look good in an old Martini type scheme. Or, I may do a little research and see what the original scheme looked like. I remember these cars when they ran in the early European GT1 days but I just can’t recall the livery. Now that I think about it a little, it seems this body had a multi-blotchy blue/white paint job but I could be wrong. I really think this body will be pretty good as far GT bodies go.

Thanks to everyone who had a role in getting these order and shipped.

Jeff
