Peter Lee at http://www.rcmanufactory.com/prod.php?cat=Team%20Magic is very reliable.

Kindest regards,

I second that.

To be honest... I am not sure what the improvement will be at this point. I hope that the K14219 and K14220 will be stronger than the current ones that I have in the car which would provide me with that as a benefit not to mention that I could use the older pairs as a spare which would be handy. It will also allow me to "fiddle" with the car itself which is something I like to do as well.

I have been delayed with ordering the parts due to an issue with the RB Motor to do with the Conrod and a Bearing issue. To solve this the most affordably I have replaced the RB Motor with a Sirio 12 with Black Head (Looks really sweeet!).

I have ordered the Parts today however and expect them to reach home be either late this week or early next.

I still cant upload photos due to post count but will add them as soon as I can

Default A TIP!

Hey peeps...things been crazy laid off back again laid off again...sooo im behind on my 09 build however i'll finnish it soon..just been gathering k-factory and back up parts for it. so i've been using my rs08..heres the tip! TRF shocks...tamiya #84008 their expensive! but you will not regret it.

super smooth and no issues..also i have found that the magic cars are a little harder to set up, however!...once you find what the cars like...their a good as anything out there. it took me awhile to get it dialed in on my track. now it rocks!!!. also i havent had any of the issues with this car tires, the build or anything like i've read here...so i'd have to say pay attention to DETAILS!!!

ONE MORE THING FOR NOW! other peoples set ups do not work for me!!!.

i think a set up will get you in the ball park for that track, but you will still need to dial it in so many things to consider tires, track ,track temp, how the car feels gearing, shocks ,spring, oil ect....this is all just my opinon!!!
what works for me!...

GREAT RACING BOBBY!!! hope to catch up with you this winter...randy smooth are you still coming up! with the T&L guys??? july 17th east coast race of champs!!!

If anyone here knows someone looking to get into nitro racing that has a low budget, please let them know about this offer. I'll sell the Mogoose, Picco, pipe, $$ servos, starter box (NEW), spares, and 3 sets of tires for the basic cost of the Picco. $300.00 shipped for everything. I'll post this in the "for sale" section later tonight.

Got the option parts and have installed the following into my G4RS 09

K14219 - K Factory G4RS 09 ST Steel Rear Universal Joint Set
K14220 - K Factory G4RS 09 ST Steel Front Universal Joint Set
K14201 - K Factory G4RS 09 Alum. 7075 Front Upper Hinge Pin Mount
K14241 - K Factory G4RS 09 Carbon Transponder Holder (L-Shape)
K14228 - K Factory G4RS 09 Lightweight Alum. Middle Belt Mount
K14210 - K Factory G4RS 09 Light Weight Alum Front Solid Axle Set

I still have to install:

K14200 - K Factory G4RS 09 Alum. 7075 Rear Lower Hinge Pin Mount

At this point the Car has had a whole lot more visual appeal added to it and it also appears to weigh slightly less which is brilliant. I'll post pic's when I am able to.

Personally if I had my go at it again I would choose the following parts as I put the Car together.

K14243 - Carbon Side Plate (Right)
K14231 - Rear Adjustable Anti-Roll Bar Set
K14202 - G4RS Alum. 7075 Front Lower Hinge Pin Mount Set (w/ washer)
K14201 - K Factory G4RS 09 Alum. 7075 Front Upper Hinge Pin Mount
K14228 - K Factory G4RS 09 Lightweight Alum. Middle Belt Mount
K14200 - K Factory G4RS 09 Alum. 7075 Rear Lower Hinge Pin Mount
K14217 - Alum. Adjustable Steering Arm

I have some of the parts above and have found that most of these require certain parts of the Car to be disassembled. This is not really that hard considering how the G4RS09 is built but takes time.

Please also be aware that the list above is quite expensive as well... so hope you have a lot of spare $$$
