Serpent 733 1/10 200mm touring
#1891
Hi, I have a question, I am running my 733, in a very technical parking lot runway, the traction is low, my car is doing very good, but I will like to get a little more rear traction getting out of the corner (on Throttle).
The first thing it comes to my mine, is increase the Front Anti-roll Bar.
I am using the stock 2.5mm in front, my question is:
Should I used the same 2.5mm, and just harden the set up of this Anti-Roll Bar, or change it, to 2.8mm.
My Set Up is:
Front Diff 100,000
Rear Diff 30,000
Front Spring RED
Rear Spring BLUE (Long)
Front tire 37 60mm
Rear tire 40 62mm
Front Camber 1.5
Rear Camber 3.0
Thanks

Then, go to the lowest rear shock mounting hole if you are the default second hole from bottom.
A mm less caster can do amazing things sometimes
Without seeing the entire setup sheet it is a bit hard to be more specific.

I'd go with nitrudude's suggestion for a softer rear bar (or the inner holes on the arm if you're outside)

How do you know, you don't even Run Serpent or Own one.

i feel that if you 'soften' the rear too much, you'll lose out of corner 'punch' and car feels 'slugglish' in turning. well that's just me.
my opinion: if the rear is 'settled' enough, you'll actually gain grip.

hey sherman, hows the pizza business?
Scott- hows the weather in your neck of the woods? Are you guys racing yet?
I was just going on what he asked for, more rear end grip..

well...it works for me. in fact i'm running 80k rear diff. with rear long pink springs!

which grease would you recommend for diff orings, so as to provide a good seal? also for the silicone rings in rccx absorbers?

Hy,
i have 2 questions:
Whats the better rear spring for the 733 ? long or short ?
Whats do you change with the différents position on servo saver ? ackerman , ok but long= more ackerman ??? and the outter or inner position.
thanks for answer
P.S. : julius , if you have a good start set-up for the europeen track , i take it ;-).
Thanks for all
