I think there is some confusion here. The way I am reading it, he is referring to the screws that holds his diff gears (ie, the screw that goes into the outdrive) is coming loose.
I have seen this happen several times, it happened to me causing the diff to seize.
As this is metal to metal, loctitie is the fix.

Just double your oil thickness (ie, if you use 50,000cst normally with 4 bevels, you need to use 100,000cst with 2 bevels). You get a much smoother diff action and get the advantages of weight savings off your drivetrain.
I have been using it for ages, works great....

DLS and V2 Rear End
Just wanted to know has anyone got any advice on what improvement the DLS and V2 rear end bring to the car in real world terms?
Are they worth the price?
Just raced the car for the first time in std guise and it's pretty amazing outta the box

same. 1st generation chassis and plastics, i have problably broken 2 front bumpers, 3 different arms, and rebuilt the diffs a few times, then replaced with new cases after the 3rd time. i replaced my spurs due to being worn , not stripping.i may have stripped one or 2 in total, one after a crash, and one due to too much flex i put into the car (but not the parts Fault). infact the last race before i sold it, about 1.5 years on, it went the best it ever had.

Is anyone keep track of how much mah they are using in there rx packs? I'm wondering if an 800 mah lipo will do the job of 20-30 minute mains?
Thanks in advance

What will removing the two bevels help in terms of handling, we normally go 10000 dif oil in the rear, we have a low traction track with lots of bendy stuff only 2 small straights. We use 35 rears and 40 or 38 fronts, got the car running great with help from pattojnr's set.up. Just want to know whats the benefit is of doing it, oh and btw im also running a solid front, no diff.

I shaved a little bit of the radio plate to make mre room for the wire.
It's probably not looking to fancy, but it beats taking out the battery for charging..

I just solder a second cable to my battery pack and together with the balancing wire run it between the radio plate and the belt tensioner.
I shaved a little bit of the radio plate to make mre room for the wire.
It's probably not looking to fancy, but it beats taking out the battery for charging..
