X-ray cvd's

Hi,

Has anyone tried to use the X-ray Factory kit cvd axles on his Serpent 710?

I have downloaded the X-ray FK manual, and the bearings in the C-hub off the X-ray have the same size as the Serpent bearings.

Are the X-ray cvd's long enough? If not this is a nice hop-up:)

Thank you in advance,

Thomas

The X-ray cvd are too short ( about 8mm)

If you could found the following serpent package,

SER-100017 contains
1 of SER-1396 Glowtronic glowplug driver
1 of SER-1400G Powerstart Starterbox grey

One of a good way to have quality stater box at a good price.

And add a couple of good 3000mAh stick pack batteries to it and you've got loads of starting power for a really intensive day at the track

If you have the Ray Woods Winternats DVD, have a close look at Michael Salven's 710 - you'll see he is using what looks like Xray CVDs. But the standard Xray CVDs (or better said the dogbones) are too light weight for the 710 - not sure what mods were made to enable this to work.

Won't be possible, D. If I lift my leg to kick Sow (assuming that my arthritis allows my leg to get that high :D ) then I'll loose my balance on my walking stick. Likewise if Sow tries to kick my ar*e - he'll probably also end up falling over.
I think it is better we do like all old-folks, i.e. just stare very meanly at each other.....but there again, with our poor eye sight, we'll probably be only staring at a lamppost or something

just wanna make my mark here again. i had assembled the kit already and ready to rumble on track. i miss the fast & furious of on-road touring. after all, serpent is still the dominating force here. i wish they come out with a monster truck kit

Xray will have better for making monster truck. In the mean time, get XB8.. one step ahead from competitors
