I think you've nailed it!

Don't rub it in !

For me, at the most would be a new blue heatsink OS engine.

I believe the "old" trick was to use the front male anti roll bar (909216) on both sides left and right. But you need to make sure that both sides are set at equal length as there aren't any marked groove guides to make sure they are installed correctly.

Mine, bone stock, titanium screw only on topdeck and pro wheel axles weight 1710.
I think somebody needs to weight the pro wheel axles versus the normal steel ones... I think that made quite a difference to my car in terms of weight.

I was using black shoe and yellow spring (I think it's stock, is it?). The stop-accelration is ok, good punch. But once its in speed, re-accelration is extrememly bad. I tried loose the spring, no work. Than I tried a brain new black shoe, a little better, but overall still no good.

The clutch gap doesn't seem effect the problem at all. While I losing the spring, the gap become smaller (is this correct??? Im kind confused), but doesn't change the strange behavior.

I guess I might need to try a new flyweight?
ttso, you mean acceleration at mid-range is poor? You need to clarify is this during 2nd gear or still in first gear?

Also, mid-range acceleration, given all else is ok, depends highly on engine tune and capability. Some engines have very poor power band ... tapers right right off after about mid-rpm.
